About Wonderfully Made Doula Services
Meet Rach
Hi! I'm Rachel :) I love Jesus, my family (wonderful husband Josh, and 3 beautiful kids Annabelle, Ezra, and Judah), and my life as a part-time hobby farm/homesteader in Greendale, BC. After the birth of my first child, I became passionate about everything related to birth and hearing different women's experiences. Following the redemptive birth of my second child, my passion grew not only to learn for myself but also to offer pregnancy support to other women, helping them experience birth in the beautiful way I did. Fast-forward to now, through God's grace, I am a certified birth doula! With experience in both home births and hospitals, I work alongside midwives and doctors. Through my dedicated care as a birth doula, you will receive emotional, physical, and, if desired, spiritual support throughout your pregnancy and birth journey, including postpartum care.
My Approach to Care
I believe in providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each momma and baby. As a birth doula, I take the time to listen to and work with moms to develop a birth plan that aligns with their values, hopes, and goals. My aim is to empower you with pregnancy support to make informed decisions about your care and to provide you with the postpartum care you need to have a positive, wonderful birth experience.
My Services
I offer a range of services within each package to provide pregnancy support for women and their families throughout their pregnancy and childbirth journey. These services include prenatal visits, continuous labor support, immediate postpartum care, a postpartum visit, and breastfeeding support, all facilitated by a knowledgeable birth doula.
